Back on Track: Rediscovering My Rhythm After a Tough Season

Published on: April 1, 2025

The past couple of months have been some of the most challenging I’ve faced in a long time.

It started with a sudden move—something that always brings chaos, no matter how much you plan. Then my vehicle broke down, leaving me scrambling for repairs. Eventually, I had to replace it altogether, which meant juggling unexpected expenses and uncertainty. At the same time, I was job hunting and trying to keep things afloat by doing DoorDash to make ends meet.

To be honest, development had to take a back seat. When survival mode kicks in, passion projects and productivity often get buried under the weight of real-life responsibilities. It was frustrating. I wanted to be coding, writing, building—but I just didn’t have the bandwidth.

But here’s the good news: I’m back to work now—a steady paycheck, some breathing room, and a return to normalcy. I can finally focus on building again without the stress of wondering how to pay for the next tank of gas.

This post isn’t just an update—it’s a reminder (to myself and maybe to you) that it’s okay to step back when life demands it. Hustle culture glorifies the grind, but sometimes, just getting through the day is enough. And that’s okay.

Now that I’m back on stable ground, I’m easing back into my projects with fresh energy and a lot more perspective. I’ll be sharing more soon about what I’m building, what I’m learning, and how I’m staying grounded as I move forward.

Thanks for sticking with me. Feels good to be back.
